My buddy Dennis gets oh so cold waiting to admit us all at the door of our favorite local watering hole. As he diligently checks ids to protect the young and innocent, he dreams of a warm cozy scarf to ward off the San Diego chill. He wishes for a diagonal-striped increased scarf done up in sportweight wool blends in shades reminiscent of the sea. Dennis…your wish is my command.

Intarsia won’t you leave me alone?

Filed under: Uncategorized — mhufford @ 9:21 pm

My hands are now like craws…yes CRAWS! Just finished knitting this cute traditional Christmas stocking for a very sweet family. My Christmas wish is that they love it…and that my hands will eventually unfurl.

Hat I am crocheted.

Filed under: Uncategorized — mhufford @ 9:12 pm

A friend needed a baby hat. While she’s a very talented and skillful knitter, she won’t come over to the dark side of crochet. I present to you, The Baby Yoda.

Oranges! Poranges! Who cares?! Well, I do….

Filed under: Uncategorized — mhufford @ 3:09 am

With all the pain and suffering in the world, an orange variegated hat just seems to make it all bearable. Knit in a super soft wool blend, this hat is warm but lightweight. Made for a cycling client who needed something for those chilly winter rides to and fro. Word has it that it keeps one “toasty.”

Candy Crochet Sweater

Filed under: Uncategorized — mhufford @ 12:17 am

It’s not cuz it’s scratchy…my model was just “sick of pictures.” This crocheted sweater in Blue Sky Organic Cotton in “Pickle” is modified from the berry pretty design in Candy Crochet, by the fabulously talented designer, Candi Jensen. Whether a master of the hook and yarn or a happy novice, you must buy this book.
